Latest Update, Process Stopped
Just received a call from the GM at Ulster Farm By-Products Limited. They are finishing up for the day and he was enquiring as to the state of play with regards to smell. There is a slight smell in the air, however it is nothing compared to what the smell was like. This means that the equipment will not be processing this weekend and whatever the problems they have been having will hopefully be rectified by Monday.
He also said that he would not even mention the Thermal Oxidisiers as he is fully aware as to my opinion of them right at this moment in time.
Lets all hope for NO SMELL over the weekend and through next week. This being the case I may not be posting back here for a while.
The Status12:08 Just been outside to assess the current state of play. Ulster Farm By-Products10:50 Received a call from the GM and was told that they were diverting their most smelly stuff to Foyle. Also informed that believe that the problem seems to be a bigger problem than they first thought. Told the GM that the smell was still there although it was less repulsive than it had been. |
New SmellThe smell has now changed and the VILE ROTTEN MATERIAL smell seems to have dispersed. The smell is now one of Burning Rubber, does this mean that they are working fast, I doubt it. And Held. And Held. I asked the Senior Environmental Health Officer for someone to come out to my property and assess the air polution that I am currently experencing. The reply NO. |
